English early 17th century mid brown calf over wooden boards; intersecting frame of two bands of a blind tooled crested roll, with centre panel divided by diagonal bands of the same roll; blind tooled double fillet on board edges; holes for chain plate nails and ties; blind tooled double fillet on spine, with title written in ink in top compartment; five double corded raised bands; yellow stained edges. Ascribed to Vincent Williamson by Paul Quarrie.
