Contemporary quarter mid brown sheep leather; boards covered in blue sugar paper; letterpress booklabel on front board; gold tooled single fillet on spine.
Two loose letterpress advertisements for additional plates inserted. Both printed by T. Bensley, Bolt Court, Fleet Street, London. The first, for plates XV to XVII, is dated May 30 1805; the second, for plates XVIII to XX, is dated June 26 1806.
Previous held loose prints from a series: Printed description of some ancient historic paintings preserved at Cowdray in Sussex, dated 1788. Now catalogued separately.
