Eight of the plates are printed on four leaves, signed b-c², but intended to be cut in half and bound as directed on each. Imsser's Tabulae are printed on six further bifolia, properly bound at the end of the volume (and sometimes pasted together to form one or more folded sheets). Gatherings P-R, V and Aa consist of bifolia of tables, the inner forme only printed (all are correctly included in the pagination).

Late sixteenth-century English dark brown calf; blind tooled triple fillet border, and cartouche strapwork centrepiece; holes for chain plate on rear board; blind tooled double fillet on spine; five raised bands; yellow and red stained edges; endpapers of contemporary manuscript on paper.
Endpapers are two letters in Spanish, in a contemporary hand, but without dates.
