"350 copies set in 12D Monotype Walbaum and printed at Whittington on Zerkall mould-made paper. 300 copies are bound in canvas cloth, and 43 in Nigerian goatskin (with proofs of twelve of the engravings) by Woolnoughs, & 7 copies are bound by John Craig with complete set of proofs. Printing completed August 1984".
Folded leaf is printed in black and light brown ink on blue paper, tipped onto endpaper.
Publisher's canvas cloth binding with circular wood-engraved medallion on upper cover and printed paper spine label; mauve endpapers with design printed in brown.
Presented by Julia Rosenthal in 2013.
Inscribed by John Craig on dedication leaf "and for Brian Farrelly ..." dated 1985.
