Contemporary reverse leather; boards have double-blind-fillet board frame and blind-tooled central frame with ornaments at outer corners; six raised bands, bordered by double-blind-fillet lines; red goatskin spine label with gilt title in gold-tooled frame: "Historical dictionary &c"; board edges blind-tooled; text block edges sprinkled red.
