Contemporary calf; boards have triple-blind-fillet border frames and blind-stamped oval centrepiece; four raised bands; goatskin spine label with gilt title in triple-gold-fillet frame: "Mellificium historicum"; board edges tooled in blind; ms. fore-edge title: "Mellificii historici"; printed waste visible beneath paste-downs.
