The translators named are: John Williams; Christopher Lowther (c. 1666-1731, later 3rd baronet); William Williams; Brune Clench; James Lowther (c. 1673-1755, later 4th baronet); Leonard Powel; Thomas Cornwallis; Robert Ingram; Martin Bowes; John Shadwell (almost certainly 1671-1747 and the son of Thomas Shadwell the playwright).
