17th century calf; heavily sprinkled; boards have double-blind-fillet border frame and blind-rolled central frame with ornaments at outer corners; five raised bands; goatskin spine label with gilt title in double-gold-fillet frame: "Prideaux Introduc: to history"; board edges tooled in gold; text block edges sprinkled red.
