Early 18th century sprinkled and smooth calf; blind tooled double fillet borders with centre frame featuring double fillet border around smooth calf and decorative roll frame around additional panel of sprinkled calf; gold tooled diamond roll on edges of boards; gold tooled border around where the spine label was; five raised bands; red sprinkled edges.
