Includes woodcut illustrations. Two of the engraved plates are frontispiences: The first, depicting Samuel I. Chapt. 28 verse 14, serves as the frontispiece for the whole work, the second, entitled "Sadducismus Triumphatus" is the frontispiece to Part 2. Both plates are signed by W. Faithorne. The remaining plate (ususally?) follows p.498.
