Written in two hands, the later hand commencing on page 34. The later hand can be found annotating passages in the first hand.
Engraved armorial bookplate of Eton College on inside front board.
Inscription on inside front board: Liber collegii B.M. de Etona D.D. Edu. Betham socius. 1773. (i.e. given to Eton College by Edward Betham (1709-1783), Fellow of Eton College from 1771).
