Instructions for converting the circles of figures into a zoopraxiscope are given in the advertisement in Descriptive zoopraxography, but apparently cropped from the foot of the engravings.
Loose plates enclosed in original brown cloth portfolio with gilt stamped title on flap: "Popular zoopraxography"; remains of brown linen ties.
