The bulk of the papers are meditations for festive tridua, usually commencing with a quotation from scripture. Also included are some sermons, reflections, prayers and spiritual directions, as well as a number of short letters signed by Michelangelo Tamburini S.J. (1648-1730). Also included is an index of placenames, entitled 'Geographica Sicula', with a thumb index.

Written in black ink, in several hands.
Acquired by Richard Topham (d. 1731). Inscription on outside rear cover: To Rich: Topham Esqr. att Windsor. Bequeathed by Topham to Eton College.
