Five sheets of differing sizes.
Contains: Six lines of verse, with first line 'Fruition yields but base & groveling' with Latin verse in a different hand on the verso; 'A peep into no. 33 at the Opera'; Six verse poem with first line 'Hail vulgar goddess of the foul-mouthed race!', attributed to Rev. Charles Jenner and describing the actress Ann Catley; 'Hark! the mellow Flutes resounding', written by Col. Arabin to celebrate George III's return to health in 1789.
Also contains one small sheet with nine lines of verse not in Storer's hand, with first line 'Is then a mortal worthy Venus's spleen?'. Possibly not originally stored with the other four sheets.
Bequeathed to Eton by Anthony Morris Storer in 1799.
Stored in an envelope with other printed and manuscript items in a late 20th century box covered in brown leather and dark green and grey marbled paper. Made by Richard Day.
