Contemporary Oxford mid brown calf; concentric frames of blind tooled triple fillet and decorative roll associated with Dominique Pinart (Gibson, Early Oxford bindings, 1903, roll xii); two champfered slots in board edges as if for ties or clasps; blind tooled triple fillet on spine with two panels of hatching at head and tail; red morocco spine label with gold tooled double fillet frame and title; five raised bands; yellow stained and red sprinkled edges; title written in ink on fore-edge; new endpapers. Very similar to Bodl. B I.3 Med, reproduced by Gibson as plate XXV.
