Inscription on title-page recording donation to Eton College by Henry Godolphin, provost of Eton, together with his armorial book stamp, a oval cartouche with double headed eagle between three fleurs de lys on verso of title-page.

Early 17th century Oxford dark brown calf; gold tooled single fillet border and gold stamped centrepiece (Ker XXXII); traces of two ties on each board; medieval manuscript pastedowns with music notation; gold stamped ornament on spine; red morocco spine label with gold tooled double fillet frame and title; five raised band; yellow-green stained and red sprinkled edges.
