Front endleaf of volume 2 bears 17th century inscription: John Cradock. The corner of the leaf to the right of the inscription has been excised, and may have borne more identifying details.

Eton College Library booklabel printed in red and black on pastedowns of both volumes. The first volume also bears the 20th century Eton College Library armorial bookplate by Reynolds Stone.

Binding

Late 17th or early 18th century mid brown calf with dark brown mottled central panel and patches radiating from central panel; gold tooled double fillet frames; gold stamped ornaments at corners of central panel; gold tooled single fillet on board edges; gold tooled double fillet on spine; red morocco spine label with gold tooled triple fillet frame and title; six raised bands; red and brown sprinkled edges.
