Inscription on title-page recording purchase of this volume by Eton College using a legacy from Henry Godolphin, provost of Eton, in 1732. His armorial book stamp, a oval cartouche with double headed eagle between three fleurs de lys appears on title-page.

Early 18th century English quarter mid brown sheep; boards covered in light blue sugar paper; red morocco spine label with gold tooled double fillet frame and title; five raised bands.
