Rebound at Eton in the early 17th century.
Notification by the prior and convent 'Syreburn' dated 1256 that they have granted Hugh de Beaumont, burgess of Winchester, and Archibald and their wives Alice and Matilda 'plenariam participationem omnium bonorum spiritualium que fuerint seu facta sunt et de cetero fient in Monasterio nostro et in aliis ecclesiis nostris' and have caused their names to be inscribed 'in nostro Martirologio', on f. 159v.
