A page for column copy of Balliol College, Oxford, MS 187, written in Oxford (probably New College) by many scribes not earlier than 1479 and probably a year or two later.

Leaves iii, iv, 624-625 are parchment leaves previously used as pastedowns and flyleaves of a contemporary binding.
Written space varies and is sometimes as much as 265 x 185 mm.
Faint ruling with a hard point or by making a crease to show the scribe where he should begin his writing.
Collation: 1-25²⁴ 26²⁴ wants 24, blank: in quire 16, 1,2 are missing and have been replaced by the present ff. 362, 363.
Written in a current mixture of anglicana and secretary, except for ff. 262,263 which are in fairly skillful secretary by a scribe who made many corrections throughout.
2-line spaces for initials, not filled.
Secundo folio: actus incidens.
Rebound at Eton around 1715.
Written in Oxford; probably came to Eton through William Horman.
