Folio 181v is blank; f. 182 is blank on both sides and has pricking, but no ruling, and the verso was previously pasted to a former binding.

Collation: 1-22⁸ 23⁴ 24² (ff. 181-2).
The initial on f. 1 is the letter I with a scaly blue and pink dragon on a gold ground, his tail turning into a continuous blue, pink and gold border. Other initials are 4-line, blue with red ornament.
Secundo folio: dum ad dominum.
Rebound at Eton in the early 17th century with another manuscript, here catalogued separately as MS 101 (2).
The marks of the pins of two strap-and-pin fastenings of a former binding and of its thongs places as four sideways Vs show on f. 182v.
Written in England.
Inscribed on f. 182: "Istum librum ego `M. Ric' Hopton´ emi ab executore petri Bylton pro lvi s' viii d' anno domoni mºccccº lv".
Inscribed on f. i in the same hand as similar inscriptions in MSS 22 and 97: "Liber Augustini super Iohannem et incipit in 2º fo dum ad dominum".
