The commentary on the Inferno and Purgatorio by Jacopo della Lana, first printed in 1477 and there ascribed to Benvenuto da Imola.
A passage beginning "Poscia che dito et tocado breuemente ..." is squeezed in as an afterthought in the second column of f. 44v.
Folio iii is ruled but blank on recto and verso, except for an 11-line note about Dante on the verso; f. 45rv is blank and without ruling.
Foliated in a medieval hand (i-iii), 1-96, (97).
Written space: ca. 230 x 175 mm.

Two columns of ca. 65 lines.
Collation of ff. iii, 1-96: 1¹⁴ 2-4¹⁰ 5 one (f. 44) 6¹² 7-10¹⁰.
Script: cursiva, by more than one hand.
6-line initial in blue with red ornament on f. 1; other initials 2- or 3-line in blue o red.
