"Love in a village" (1762), one of Arne's ore popular operas, was "a pasticcio of 42 items, of which five were newly composed by Arne and 13 borrowed from his earlier works. The new overture was by C. F. Abel and the remainder adapted from other composers, including Geminiani and Galuppi" (New Grove).
According to BUCEM, p. 631, there were four editions printed in London between ca. 1765 and ca. 1790.
