Manuscript on paper, in Greek, of the Cyropedia of Xenophon (ff. 1-100), followed by thirty medieval iambic verses of a moralising tendency (f. 100v) and by the Anabasis of Xenophon (ff. 101-178).
This manuscript was used for the text of Hutchinson's edition of the Anabasis in 1735, and is frequently quoted from Hutchinson, e.g. by J. G. Schneider in his edition (Oxford, 1821). It was collated for Hutchinson by John Burton, fellow of Eton.

Written in a fine hand, described by M. R. James in an annotation in the interleaved, annotated copy of his Descriptive catalogue as small and 'flat', the epsilon lying back as in the 'Leicester' scribe's writing.
Each book has a title ornamented in red.
