Fragment taken from a binding: seven leaves of Bede on Luke, six from book 4 and one from book 6.
Text as in Patrologia Latina v. 92, col. 477 line 26-col. 479 line 18 (f. 1); col. 483 line 6-col. 492, last line but one (ff. 2-6); col. 628 line 11-col.630 line 31 (f. 7).
The number of the book is in red at the head of each recto and the number of the chapter of Luke (xi, xii, xxiiii) at the foot of each recto.
Chapter numbering in red ink in the text: li (f. 4), lii (f. 6) and ciiii (f. 7), at the head of paragraphs beginning "Attendite", "Ait autem quidem" and "Dum hec autem".
Written space: 263 x 168 mm.
Two columns of 38 lines.
Pricks in both margins to guide ruling.
No visible ruling on ff. 1-6.
Folio 1 was the last leaf of quire XII, with quire number on the verso; ff. 2-6 are five adjacent leaves of the next quire.
2-line initials in blue with red ornament on ff. 4 and 7, and red with green ornament on f. 6.
Rebound at Eton in the first half of the 20th century; f. 5 was the pastedown of an unidentified book with Eton pressmark Dd.1.10.
