16th-century English mid brown calf; roll with cornucopias and drums used as a frame extending towards the edges and the spine (Oldham MU (1) no. 951); central panel decorated with ornament (Oldham C (1) no. 979) limited by blind triple fillets; remains of tacks for chain and clasps, left to right; four raised bands with alum-tawed skin supports and blind tooled fillets; one additional flyleaf on front and back of book; gold titling on red leather on spine; 'Textoris Officina' written on fore-edge; ms leaves on parchment used as pastedowns.
A few ms notes (ff. CCXLV verso and CCXLVI recto) in an early hand.
