Late 16th century mid brown calf; single gold tooled fillet border with gold stamped armorial centrepiece of Eton College; remains of tacks for chain and clasps, left to right; six raised bands decorated with blind tooled fillets; gold titling on red leather on spine; red edges; recently rebacked with the addition of two front and back flyleaves.
