Adagia, id est: prouerbiorum, paroemiarum et parabolarum omnium, quæ apud Græcos, Latinos, Hebræos, Arabas, &c. in vsu fuerunt, collectio absolutissima in locos communes digesta. In qua continentur suis quæque locis accurato ordine posita: Des. Erasmi Roterodami Chiliades... M. Grunnii Corocottæ Porcelli Testamentum... Quorum omnium ac singulorum prouerbia et adagia, iuxta locorum communium seriem, Erasmicis, præposito cuiusque authoris nomine, commodissima methodo subiunguntur.
