16th-century English mid brown calf; two roll-tooled frames (Oldham HM.h (10) 835 and MW.d (6) 868) decorated with triple blind fillet; remains of tacks for clasps, left to right; one orgininal flyleaf at the back of the book and one more recent flyleaf at the front; 'Despauterius' written on fore-edge.
