Binding
Sammelband. 19th-century quarter straight-grain leather with green marbled paper; pasteboard. Spine flat, divided by horizontal gilt single fillets into 6 compartments, of which the second (from head of spine) has gilt lettering "Plays". Endpapers undecorated; textblock sprinkled red. Board edges worn, exposing pasteboard.
Copy-specific note
Ms. underlinings, pointers, annotations, and corrections to the text in (at least one) 19th-century hand, in pencil and pen, throughout. Additionally, a note in a 19th hand on reverse of frontispiece: "the alterations of page 8. etc will I am sure suit all parties". It is unclear whether this annotation pertains to this or the previous item in the sammelband, Krr.3.20(09), since manuscript emendations are present in both items).
