Early 20th-century reddish-brown morocco over pasteboard. On upper cover, gilt lettering ("Brown Sugar" and "Lady (Arthur) Lever") within an ornamental gold-blocked frame; outer border comprised of a single gilt fillets. On lower cover, the fillets only. Spine rounded with five shallow bands, divided into compartments by transverse gilt fillets; compartments with gilt lettering as on title, and foliate tools. Turn-ins gilt with an ornamental foliate roll; pastedown and free endpapers of a light pinkish marbled paper. Textblock trimmed and gilt (on top edge only).
