?19th quarter-bound red morocco and marbled paper over millboards. Gilted edges between the covers' leather and paper. Spine with five raised bands, decorated with gilt rolls and tools; gilt titling, including place and date of publication of the text ('Gay's Fables'; 'Lond: 1793').Single headbans of alternative plain and green thread. Textblock trimmed and flat, marbled on all edges. Endpapers of marbled paper facing the pastedowns. Three flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
