Binding

19th-century brown tree calfskin over millboard. (Left board of v.1 missing). Both covers with ornamental gilt roll; board edges with a gilt roll; turn-ins with a blind ornamental roll. Spine with five false shallow bands, the panels elaborately tooled; second and third panels with labels (missing). Textblock trimmed, rounded and marbled. Endpapers of marbled paper (pastedowns and facing flyleaves) with a free flyleaf at each end of the textblock.
