16th-century brown calfskin over wood boards. Gilt tolls and blind fillers; golden brass corner pieces and central bosses; golden clasp with leather belt. Damage to rear board where it was probably chained. Spine rebacked in the 20th century; five raised bands and gilt titling ("Breviarum"; "MCCCCLXXXII"). Endpapers of pink modern paper including pastedowns; one flyleaf at both ends of the textblock.
