v.1-4: 19th-century polished brown calfskin over millboards. Covers decorated with blind roll to form a border; gilt roll on board edges. Spine flat with gilt fillets and titling on black label ("Histoire de Venise"; "Daru. [tome numbers]"). Textblock trimmed and spinkled brown. Endpapers of marbled paper, including pastedowns; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock [v.3 has three at each end].
Binding
v.5: 19th-century half bound brown calfskin and marbled paper over millboards. Spine flat with gilt fillets and titling on black label ("Hist. de Venic"; "Maps"); damaged at lower end. Textblock uneven. Endpapers of marbled paper, including pastedowns; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
