17th-century laced-in vellum binding. Covers undecorated. Spine flat with ink titling ("Systema epistolica Jena: 1665"). Textblock trimmed and slightly rounded, dyed blue. Endpapers of undecorated laid paper; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
