18th-century quarter-bound speckled ?calfskin and marbled paper over pasteboards. Spine flat with gilt fillets and titling over red label ("Robinson Crusoe"). Textblock flat and sprinkled ?brown. Endpapers of undecorated paper; two flyleaves at the upper end of the textblock, one at the lower end.
Eton School Library label on front pastedown: "Not to be taken out of the Library".
