18th-century quarter-bound beige leather and undecorated paper over pasteboards. Spine with six sewing stations; ink titling ("Melae"); gilt roll and titling over red label ("Pomp. et alii"); brown leather label with ink title ("[...]"). Textblock trimmed and dyed red. Endpapers of undecorated laid paper; one flyleaf at both ends of the textblock.
