In five parts. "The seconde part of the Bible", "The thirde parte of the Bible", "The volume of bookes called Apocrypha" and "The Nevve Testament" each have special title pages and separate pagination.
At head of title pages: 1575; at the foot: "God saue the Queene.".

Preliminary matter includes Matthew Parker's Preface, A prologue or preface made by Thomas Cranmer, an almanac, a calendar, and The order where morning and euening prayer shalbe vsed and sayde.
Colophon on leaf [30] with printer's device: "Imprinted at London by Richarde Iugge, Printer to the Queens Maiestie. Cum priuilegio Regiæ Maiestatis.".
Colophon with printer's device on the last text-bearing leaf of volume: "Imprinted at London in the yere of our redemption, M.D.LXXV. and finished the XXIIII. day of Nouember. God saue the Queene.".
The almanac and calendar have been printed in black and red.

19th-century brown morocco over millboards. Covers panelled with gilt fillets and tools at the corners; gilt centrepiece with leaves and flowers; gilt tools and fillets on board-edges; gilt fillet on turn-ins. Spine with six raised bands; gilt fillets, tools, and titling ("The holy Bible."; "London John Judson 1575."). Textblock trimmed and gilted. Endpapers of undecorated wove paper; two flyleaves at the upper end of the textblock, one at the lower end.
16th-century handwritten note on the blank leaf at the end of the second part of the Bible: "Lord as thou hast (i)nflicted thy servant with extreame sickness so now by thy mercy grant him helth". Another note seemingly in the same hand on leaf 96 of second part of the Bible: "Thy lys are more sweeter then honey and the words of thy mouth are as [illegible]". Possibly a different hand on leaf 40 verso of the same part: "Gabriel".
Letter inserted between upper board and front endpaper, from Arthur Cole to Joseph F. Burrell, dated 24 April 1951, concerning the uniqueness of this copy due to the mention of both Judson and Jugge.
