Label of Eton College Library, with red initials, on front pastedown with inscription: "Nov 1925 given by Mr Amyas Warre". Amyas Warre was the brother of Francis Warre-Cornish, Vice-Provost of Eton 1893-1916.
17th-century speckled calfskin over pasteboards. Covers decorated with gilt rolls and tools, including board-edges and turn-ins. Spine with six sewing supports, decorated with gilt fillets and titling over a reddish-brown leather label ("Oraçao commum [damaged - text missing]"). Textblock trimmed. Endpapers of marbled (pastedowns and facing flyleaves) and undecorated paper; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
