19th-century mottled brown calf over millboard (?sewn on three recessed supports). On both covers, an outer border of a gilt foliate roll ; narrow squares. Spine flat, the panels gold-tooled. Textblock trimmed and undecorated. Endpapers comprised of orange marbled paper (pastedown and flyleaf).
Fragments of spine coverings loose in flyleaves.
Manuscript note in a 20th-century hand on upper flyleaf verso: "Criminology".
