19th-century quarter-bound green calfskin and marbled cloth over millboards. Covers with blind double fillets between cloth and leather. Spine flat decorated with gilt and blind tools and fillets; gilt titling over red label ("Scènes de la vie des animaux."). Textblock trimmed. Endpapers of marbled (pastedowns and facing flyleaves) and undecorated paper; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
