Spine with three raised bands; decorated with gilt tools, fillets, and titling ("David Powel's historie of Cambria"; "1584"). Textblock trimmed and gilted. Endpapers of marbled (pastedowns and facing flyleaves) and undecorated paper; three flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
