?18th-century calfskin over pasteboards. Covers decorated with gilt fillets and rolls to form a border, tools to form a panel; transversal gilt fillets on board-edges and turn-ins. Spine with three raised bands; decorated with gilt tools, fillets, and titling ("David Powel's historie of Cambria"; "1584"). Textblock trimmed and gilted. Endpapers of marbled (pastedowns and facing flyleaves) and undecorated paper; three flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
