[Gi.7.25] Late 20th-century black morocco, bound by Riviere and Son. Covers undecorated; medium squares, the board edges tooled with a gilt double fillet roll. Spine rounded with five raised bands; gilt lettering in second and third panels ("The blazon of gentrie" / "John Ferne 1586"); endbands of alternating red, blue and red thread. Textblock trimmed and gilt on all edges. Wide turn-ins, tooled with gilt ornamental and foliate rolls and single and dotted fillets. Endpapers comprised of blue marbled paper (pastedown and flyleaf) with plain laid or laid-effect paper (flyleaves).

[Go.4.24] ?17th/18th-century calfskin over pasteboards. Covers decorated with triple blind fillets to form a border. Spine with five raised bands, decorated with blind fillets. Textblock trimmed, dyed red (now faded). Endpapers of undecorated laid paper; one flyleaf at both ends of the textblock.

Spine with five raised bands, decorated with gilt tools and titling over red label ("Blazon of gentrie"). Textblock trimmed and rounded. Endpapers of undecorated laid paper; one flyleaf at the upper end of the textblock, two at the lower end.
