Binding
Late 17th-century speckled mid-brown calfskin over pasteboards, sewn on four supports. Both covers undecorated; medium squares. Spine with four shallow raised bands; panels tooled with a blind foliate stamp and outlined by blind double fillets; endbands of alternating blue and brown thread. Textblock trimmed and sprinkled red. Endpapers comprised of bifolium of plain laid paper (pastedown and flyleaf).
