19th-century calfskin over millboards. Covers decorated with triple blind fillets and one gilt fillet all to form a border, with blind flower tools at the corners; gilt fillets on board edges and turn-ins. Spine with five raised bands, decorated with gilt fillets, tools and titling over brown label ("The animal kingdom"). Textblock trimmed and gilted. Endpapers of undecorated paper; three flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
