?18th-century speckled calfskin over pasteboards. Covers undecorated; gilt roll on board edges (now faded). Spine rebacked with five raised bands, decorated with gilt fillets and titling over red morocco label ("Melmouth's Cicero"). Textblock trimmed and sprinkled red. Endpapers of undecorated laid paper; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
