Binding

18th-century calfskin over pasteboards. Covers decorated with transversal gilt fillets on board edges. Spine rebacked with five raised bands, decorated with blind and gilt fillets and titling over red morocco label ("English proverbs"). Textblock trimmed and sprinkled red. Endpapers of undecorated laid paper; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
