19th-century red morocco over millboards. Covers decorated with gilt roll to form a border, gilt roll on board edges and turn-ins. Spine flat, decorated with gilt tools, rolls, and titling ("Ossian's poems"). Textblock trimmed and gilted. Endpapers of marbled (pastedowns and facing flyleaves) and undecorated wove paper; three flyleaves at both ends of the textblock. The second front flyleaf has been torn off.
