19th-century red morocco over ?millboards bound by Francis Bedford. Covers decorated with gilt fillets to form a border; gilt fillets also on board edges and gilt roll on turn-ins. Spine with six raised bands, decorated with gilt tools and titling ("Willemin. Monuments français"; "Tome [I./II.]"). Textblock trimmed and gilted. Endpapers of marbled (pastedowns and facing flyleaves) and undecorated laid paper; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
